this fabulous outdoor event was thrown for a sweet little girl and five of her closest friends as an end of summer bash before starting the school year. we used the natural setting as the inspiration and topped everything off with an array of colorful butterflies in a number of bright patterns and textures.
the menu was simple: finger sandwiches, nuts, carrot sticks and melon ball cups with double chocolate cupcakes and coconut layer cake for dessert. each place setting was marked with a coordinating place mat, custom water bottles with labels and a cut out butterfly placecard.
the highlight of the decor was the custom lantern arrangment covered with more brilliant butterflies that glowed in the evening hours. the cake stand shown above was made especially for the event and is available in our
party favors included lifesavers, containers of sour drops and bottles of bubbles, all finished off with custom labels and tags.
in the evening, the ambiance was set with butterfly votives, twinkle lights and glowing butterfly jars along the banister. it was a magical event for the six young guests.
